The dance company Tondoa invites you to an immersive evening featuring three participatory dance and music workshops at the heart of Espace Nyata Nyata.
- Cercles Tissés: A multisensory mediation space centered around Colombian rhythms, encouraging movement expression, group connection, and openness to others. Tailored to the diverse Nuit blanche à Montréal audience, this 90‑minute workshop invites participants to join a dance circle built around a predefined concept. Two facilitators guide them through activities that foster connection to the music and the group. Movement exploration, singing, and rhythm exercises are introduced, accompanied by live musicians.
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Time: 9:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
This project is intended for anyone curious to discover Colombian culture through movement, including families (recommended age: 8 and up), young adults, seniors, and enthusiasts of dance or cultural mediation.
- Tradik: A 60‑minute dance workshop designed to introduce participants to both traditional and contemporary Colombian dances. The session unfolds in two parts: learning reimagined dance steps with urban and electronic influences, followed by the creation of a collective choreography.
Time: 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Recommended age: 10 and up
