Connie Zagora is the chef and owner of Restaurant Le Kitchen in Lyon. Born and raised in by Polish parents, her dual culture inspires her cooking. She worked in the kitchens of the Ritz Paris under Michel Roth and Arnaud Faye, as well as the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme (Jean-François Rouquette) and Takao Takano in Lyon. Ferrandi School of Gastronomy in Paris, and her partner Laurent Ozan were inspired to create their own world based around the region's fine produce. After spending 10 years learning the trade, they work in harmony with the seasons of local nature and the farmers of our region for vegetables, fruit, flour, seeds, starches, drinks, etc., some of which are organic. They practice an anti-waste gastronomy with techniques of fermentation, drying, transformation and macerations.
The Kitchen has been listed in the Michelin guide with a BIB gourmand since 2015 and with a Toque in the Gault & Millau guide. In 2016, Connie Zagora and Laurent Ozan were awarded the Jeune Talent prize by Gault & Millau.
