Takuya Matsuda
Takuya Matsuda, originally from Mie Prefecture in Japan, began his career in the food industry at the young age of fifteen and has since accumulated more than twenty five years of experience. Inspired by Cirque du Soleil, he created a theatrical omakase experience by introducing performance into his cooking, transforming meals from simple taste experiences into multisensory moments that engage sight, emotion and all five senses. He is opening Okeya in Canada with the wish to share Japanese culture with many people through his love of food.
