For this edition of MTL en Lumière, we’re bringing back the iconic classics of the Moishes institution on Saint-Laurent, reimagined by our chef Murteza Talu as part of the renewed Moishes at Square Victoria.
We will be offering our guests a four-course menu featuring, among other dishes, our classic Caesar salad, the famous chicken liver (a Saint-Laurent staple), a choice of filet mignon, rib steak, salmon, or the classic Moishes Roast Chicken, all served with latkes and fried onions. To finish on a high note: the unbeatable mille-feuille. To enhance this gastronomic experience, we will also welcome Joris Gutierrez Garcia, Best Sommelier of Canada 2023 and Best Sommelier of the Americas 2025, as guest sommelier. He will present thoughtfully curated pairings to elevate each course.

As the Corporate Executive Chef of Moishes, Murteza Talu continues to advance the legacy of the steakhouse founded in 1938. Shaped by his experience at Restaurant Damas, he sees cooking as a moment of hospitality and connection that goes beyond expectations. Driven by the authenticity of ingredients and a meticulous craft, he carries forward the work of recent years to honor the spirit of this iconic institution.
