Normand Laprise
Normand Laprise has been the chef-owner of Restaurant Toqué for more than 32 years. He is regularly invited to cook internationally, where he happily showcases Quebec’s gastronomy. His work has been recognized by both the Ordre du Québec and the Order of Canada. He also served as the only Canadian ambassador on the prestigious Paul Bocuse Institute Advisor Board. In 2025, he received the Icon Award from North America’s 50 Best Restaurants, an honor granted to an individual for their lifetime achievements and contribution to a better future in the culinary world.
