Adelle Tarzibachi co-founded Les Filles Fattoush in 2017 in response to the wave of Syrian migrants to Canada. With a mission to provide Syrian women with employment opportunities and promote their culinary expertise, she created bridges between these women and Quebec, delighting our taste buds along the way. Today, many delicious products from Les Filles Fattoush can be found everywhere. Adelle will join us at the Village Gourmand to present her flavorful lentil soup.
Adelle Tarzibachi
Adelle Tarzibachi, originally from Aleppo, Syria, immigrated to Montreal in 2003. A dedicated businesswoman and activist, she founded ADECO IMPORT, a company specializing in the import of Syrian handicrafts, thereby providing sustainable economic opportunities to around twenty Syrian families. Inspired by the success of this humanitarian and solidarity-driven project, she co-founded Les Filles Fattoush in 2017 to support the social integration and restore the dignity of Syrian refugee women living in Montreal. This initiative aims to socially and professionally integrate Syrian refugee women in Montreal through their culinary expertise. Her determination and commitment help strengthen ties between Syrians and Canadians while promoting Syrian cuisine.
