Nuit blanche at Système presents an all-night event curated by Temple Records, featuring live performances by Alan Harman and Medio Mutante, followed by Temple DJs closing out the night.
Alan Harman is a Canadian coldwave artist known for his entirely analog live recording process and his dedication to a dark, immersive sound. Raised in a small town infamous for its unusually high levels of radiation in the soil, Harman spent his youth searching for meaning beyond religion, eventually finding it through synthesizers and coldwave music. Now based in Montreal, he performs regularly in clubs and bars alongside artists such as Kontravoid and Xeno & Oaklander.
Medio Mutante, led by Seth Nemec, delivers a hybrid Electro Wave / Minimal Synth sound that fuses analog synthesizers, drum machines, Spanish-language vocals, and influences from ’80s New Wave, hip-hop, and Latin freestyle. The result is a propulsive, unpredictable energy true to the project’s name.
The night will close with Temple Records DJs Richard and M Salaciak. Temple Records is a Montreal-based label run by Matt Salaciak (M Salaciak, Variant), Richard Wenger (Richard Lamb, Science Friction), and Adam Feingold (Ex-T, Pondlicker). Active for over a decade, the label focuses on left-field electronic music, ranging from glitch and IDM to minimal synth.
