Performance in collaboration with dancers Jade Maya Gabriel (Montreal), Yvan Herrera Tovar (Mexico) and guest artist Ana Rewakowicz (Montreal).

This performance reflects on a play on words that, in its euphony and meaning, recreates a false mantric prayer dedicated to the Sun, and is inserted into a tradition of artistic-scientific-religious-historical cults, such as Afrofuturism, Cosmism, Pataphysics, Surrealism, Dada, etc. And, by paying homage to our galaxy's governing star, immediately links us to the mysticism characteristic of the vast majority of ancient cultures.

The organization of sounds and silences formed in the phrase - Some Sun is Coming Soon - crudely imitates the buzzing of flies, bees and other insects that inhabit the scorching Mexican desert: Juan Rulfo, Jorge Ibargüengoitia and Carlos Castaneda see them as the real protagonists in the ongoing plot of life and death that nourishes the abandoned narratives of these isolated places, also transforming them, through the voice, into a sound device.

The choreographies used in Some Sun is Coming Soon belong to the Magical Passes (or Tensegrity) of the Castanedian tradition, and are designed as tools for strengthening and defending the invisible energetic cocoon that covers and connects our bodies, through a connection called the "yaw point", located at different heights of the spine, which can move and deteriorate, and which it is therefore important to maintain in good health. The words Some, Sun, Coming and Soon were extracted from Google Analytics statistics, a tool that recognized them as among the most mentioned words on the WWW since the beginning of the medium.
