Presented by Art Matters Festival, Royaume Unlike Ur Own is an immersive evening celebrating the voices of student artists through performance art, video, installation, and music. Performances will surprise and inspire throughout the night, transforming the space into a dynamic canvas where movement, sound, and visuals collide. A kingdom is born from chasing summer, but winter keeps crashing down upon us, and we seek solace in the warmth of a bed of tuile: delectable.

Art Matters is North America’s largest student-run arts festival, taking place every year in March. Since 2000, Art Matters has presented exhibitions and events across Montréal, creating platforms and opportunities for undergraduate artists studying at Concordia University. This event kicks off a month-long program of art events across the city for the 26th edition of the Art Matters Festival.

This year’s theme, "Unstable Grounds", asks: How do you navigate our current landscape? As we face ever-mounting uncertainties, Art Matters invites you to consider what it means to come together and form community as a radical act.
