The second-year cohort of the Professional Theatre School at Collège Lionel-Groulx presents a montage of excerpts from three plays by playwright Olivier Kemeid: L’Énéide, Five Kings: The Story of Our Fall, and Revenge and Oblivion.

These three narratives intertwine to explore the complexity of power, lineage, and the journeys of refugees in search of a land where peace can prevail.

The students developed their performances by drawing on Meyerhold’s biomechanical approach, which emphasizes the physicality of acting as a way to embody and bring to life the central themes of the selected excerpts.

This year, the students worked under the supervision of actor and instructor Daniel Parent.
