For the 2026 edition of Nuit blanche à Montréal, PHI, in collaboration with World Creation Studio, invites audiences to discover a selection of visual, sound, and performing artists who, through their respective works, explore the potential of video games and online culture to create and inhabit other realities. The project aims to celebrate the ability of video games to reflect the urgencies of the world we live in, while also helping us imagine elsewhere, where other possibilities can emerge.
In the first part of the program, audiences will be able to attend performances by Maude Veilleux and Fannie L’Heureux, specially created for the occasion. This will be followed by pairings between artists from Montréal’s electronic music scene and video artists, offering a series of DJ sets and festive performances. In addition, audiences will be able to discover digital interactive installations that address the themes of the evening.
As a nod to video game culture, embodied by thousands of streamers broadcasting content online, the performances will be livestreamed to make them accessible to a wider audience.
