For the 2025 edition of Montréal’s Nuit blanche, Espace VERRE lights up MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE with a vibrant, immersive evening in its hot glass studio, all under the theme “Pop.” This year, step into the dazzling world of glass, where vivid colors and mesmerizing textures come alive before your eyes. Enjoy spectacular live demonstrations of glassblowing and torchwork by emerging artists, blending imagination and skill to celebrate the magic of glass.
On the second floor, visitors are invited to explore Sauvage, an exhibition by artist Florentin Chaumet that delves into the human condition through glass artworks capturing the diversity and complexity of our existence. Addressing themes such as identity, societal oppression, and the beauty of difference, the artist encourages us to question our place in an ever-changing world. This exhibition is a rare opportunity to reflect on our connections to the environment while celebrating humanity’s fragility and resilience. The artist will be present to meet visitors and share insights into his creative process.
To complete your visit, our boutique offers a curated selection of works by Québec glass artisans, allowing you to continue exploring the many facets of glass art.
