Fiesta Latina invites the public to experience the warmth and energy of Latin dance during Nuit blanche à Montréal. Presented by Latin Groove, a leading Latin dance institution in Montreal since 1999 and home to one of the city’s largest and most active Latin dance communities, this immersive event celebrates movement, culture, and human connection.
The evening will begin with free introductory dance lessons, allowing participants to learn the basics of salsa and bachata and feel comfortable on the dance floor. These will be followed by professional dance performances showcasing salsa, bachata, reggaeton, merengue, and other Latin styles. The night will then transition into social dancing, inviting the public to dance freely and enjoy the music until 3:00 a.m.
With DJs, live percussion, and an interactive atmosphere, Fiesta Latina transforms the space into a vibrant gathering place where visitors can momentarily leave the winter cold behind and step into the warmth and energy of Cuban-inspired rhythms. Welcoming and accessible to all, from first-time dancers to experienced enthusiasts, this event offers Montrealers a joyful escape, reminding us that dance is a universal language and that happiness can truly be danced.
