For the 21st edition of Nuit Blanche Montréal, Atelier Circulaire joins forces with Arprim, March 2. The two artist-run centers will welcome the public to the Belgo building (372 rue Sainte-Catherine West, # 426) from 6 p.m.- 1 a.m. for a creative evening entitled Corps Exquis (Exquisite Corpse). The event will offer a public activity combining artwork printing and collective creation.

This participatory workshop will guide participants through creating an art print using a series of stamping stations, with the aim of producing unique beings with invented bodies! Mediators will be on site to aid the public through the use of these stamp stations.

Each participant will be able to place their completed artworks on the walls of the Arprim gallery, creating a collective mural made up of a variety of imaginary figures. As the evening progresses, the gallery will be covered with these works, forming a collaborative, playful and fun installation. Participants will also be able to take away a printed work, imprinted with the Atelier Circulaire seal.

Atelier Circulaire is an artist-run center dedicated to creation, research, dissemination and education in the printed arts. Its goal is to preserve and teach traditional printmaking techniques while integrating new technologies and contemporary practices related to the printing arts.
