As part of Nuit blanche 2025, McGill Visual Arts Collection invites participants to our Visible Storage Gallery after hours for an evening of sketching! Come in from the cold and discover some of McGill University’s most significant and diverse works of art in a beautiful gallery space in the heart of the McLennan Library. For this special Nuit blanche event, we will introduce you to the art collection and invite you to “De-Stress + Sketch” one artwork in the gallery – sketching supplies will be provided! There are over 50 works of Canadian, Indigenous and international art, both historical and contemporary on display in the Visible Storage Gallery to choose from. Spend some time really connecting with one of these artworks; focus on the details, admire its composition, its form, its colours, and be inspired by your own creativity!
