From 6:00 p.m. to midnight, Atelier Circulaire opens the doors of its production workshop — the largest professional space dedicated to printmaking in North America — located in the heart of Mile End. A Nuit blanche à Montréal partner for over ten years, the organization presents Bingo! A Full Card — When Chance Creates Art, a free and immersive event that transforms the workshop into a vibrant creative playground.
Inspired by the game of bingo, the experience playfully reimagines its rules, making chance, collaboration, and gesture the driving forces of creation. Each “bingo” unlocks a direct intervention on an evolving collective artwork, printed live, and every participant leaves with a unique poster. Inclusive and intergenerational, the activity invites more than 1,000 visitors to discover printmaking through a fun and contemporary lens.
The event unfolds as an immersive journey through the production workshop. Game cards are printed live using risograph printing, after which visitors move toward the central space, transformed into a lively social club atmosphere. With each bingo, a participant intervenes on a collective canvas, which is regularly turned into a stencil for screen-printed posters. Prints dry on site and are handed out to the public, while a lounge area and photobooth invite visitors to document and share the experience.
