Autotrophia is an immersive live performance characterized by the dynamic alliance of sound and visual creation in real time. The project is presented as a synesthetic work where experimental electronic music and generative video projections engage in constant dialogue.

Live Performance (2 x 45 minutes): This is the core of the project, where the sound and visual artists interact. The sound (rhythms, textures) directly influences the visuals (colors, movements) and vice-versa, creating a sensory feedback loop. The work explores the relationship between emotion and color, associating each sequence with a specific chromatic palette for an abstract emotional journey. Real-time interaction guarantees the uniqueness of each representation.

Safia Nihil: The project is led by DBY and Shadya, co-founders of Chez Kito Kat Records. The name Safia Nihil symbolizes the duality between wisdom and nihilism. Their sound influences are eclectic, drawing from lo-fi downtempo, breakbeat, modal jazz, acid, and traditional Maghreb music. Using modular synthesizers and vintage echoes, this duo of DJs and producers retraces 30 years of their musical journey. Safia Nihil was first presented in Canada at the Mutek Montreal 2025 festival for the release of their new EP.

Line Katcho: A Montreal-based composer and multimedia artist, Line Katcho uses sound and image as material to represent movements and gestures, while exploring perceptual games and the evocation of affects. Her work is dynamic and provocative, blending the figurative with abstraction, seeking a hybridization of styles and a sensory and cathartic experience. Line Katcho, recipient of several awards (JTTP 2014, MA/IN 2016), has showcased her work—from audiovisual performance to film and virtual reality—at major international festivals such as Ars Electronica and MUTEK (across the globe).
