On the occasion of Nuit blanche à Montréal, an eclectic program will highlight the richness and diversity of our spaces, inviting the public to experience an immersive journey in three parts.
In the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel, the ensemble À ContreVoix will celebrate its twentieth anniversary. To mark this milestone, a program that is both commemorative and forward-looking will be presented, showcasing the singers’ favorite works.
Continue your exploration with an immersive concert by the ensemble Comtessa. Through pieces by Hildegard of Bingen, the Ars Nova, and the Ars Subtilior, the performance explores how medieval music sought to balance the humors and harmonize the human being with the universe. Performed on period instruments and enriched with electronic elements, this sensory experience subtly weaves together sound and light.
Finally, enjoy a rare opportunity to admire the illuminated Old Port from our belvedere as night falls.
