Join us for the very first edition of Nuit blanche in Montreal at Quai 5160 – Maison de la culture de Verdun, in the heart of Verdun’s Cultural District.
The evening kicks off at 8:00 p.m. with an in-theater performance of the choreographic work ON / OFF by Grand Poney, a dance piece aimed at both teen and adult audiences. The work features a quintet of dancers performing on a surprising set: a treadmill. In this unusual, confined-space scenography, movement is as constrained as it is exhilarating—fiery and acrobatic. This performance is presented as part of CAM en tournée.

The evening continues on site: Quai 5160 becomes a play zone! From 9:00 p.m. to midnight, the animation team will welcome you with simple, fast, and fun board games. As a bonus, two retro game consoles (a SNES and a Genesis) will let you relive your childhood. This animation, offered by Le Ludologue, is free thanks to the collaboration of Verdun libraries.
The Quai 5160 team also invites you to bridge visual arts and your own creativity with an ongoing cultural mediation workshop inspired by the current exhibition of artist Ariane Valade. The workshop will run from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
As a multidisciplinary presenter and member of the Montreal Maisons de la culture network, Quai 5160 promises to surprise and entertain you during this unique cultural stop!
Board games, video games, and cultural programs operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited spots available.
