- The SOLIDE CONCOURS DU LAIT Contest (hereinafter, the “Contest”) is sponsored by MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE (hereinafter, “Contest Organizer”) in collaboration with Les Producteurs de lait du Québec (hereinafter, “Le Lait”). The contest starts on January 22, 2018, at 5 p.m. (EST) and closes on February 21, 2018, at 11:59 (EST).
ELIGIBILITY
- This Contest is open to residents of the province of Québec aged 18 and over. No purchase required. This Contest is not open to employees of MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE, L’Équipe Spectra, nor members of their immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters and children) or any individuals domiciled with ineligible parties.

To enter the Contest, fill out the form http://www.montrealenlumiere.com/en-ca/Home/Lesolideconcoursdulait between January 22 and February 21, 2018.
On February 21, 2018, at 3 p.m. (EST), a random drawing of the name of the grand prize winner will be held in the offices of MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE. The Contest Organizer will contact the winner by telephone.
- All Contest entries become the property of the Contest Organizer upon submission.
- By submitting the entry form, the participant certifies that his entry complies with all terms and conditions set forth in these rules. He releases the Contest Organizer, Le Lait, as well as MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE, L’Équipe Spectra, their representatives and agents, their affiliated companies, promotional agencies, promotional partners associated with the Contest, and any other parties or individuals otherwise associated with the Contest, from any and all liability regarding the use of his entry and any material submitted, if it is subsequently established that he did not fully comply with the rules of the Contest.
PRIZES
- The prize has a $1,200 value, taxes included, and includes:

The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Any electronic entry ballot that is incomplete, incomprehensible, distorted, reproduced or submitted late will be annulled and ineligible for admission. Any and all decisions by the Contest Organizer in this regard are final with no recourse to appeal.
- The Contest Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any individual or cancel one or more entries by any person entering or trying to enter this Contest by any means contrary to the present rules, or by any means that is unfair to other entrants (ex.: using any automated equipment in order to participate in the Contest, hacking, exceeding the number of entries permitted, etc.). Any such person may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities. Any and all decisions by the Contest Organizer in this regard are final with no recourse to appeal.
- WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE, IMPAIR THE REGISTRATION PROCESS OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LAWS. SHOULD ANY SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, CONTEST ORGANIZER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PURSUE DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
- Prizes must be accepted as awarded, with no guarantees. NO SUBSTITUTION OF PRIZES IS PERMITTED, EXCEPT BY THE CONTEST ORGANIZER IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. THE CONTEST ORGANIZER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE ANY PRIZE WITH ANOTHER PRIZE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE IF A PRIZE CANNOT BE AWARDED AS DESCRIBED FOR ANY REASON. PRIZES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND ARE NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH OR CREDIT, IN WHOLE OR IN PART.
- Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official Contest rules and by all decisions of the Contest Organizer, which are final in all matters. This Contest is subject to all applicable laws. By entering or attempting to enter the Contest, participants discharge the Contest Organizer, its collaborator, its promotional agencies as well as its respective affiliated companies, administrators, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability and for any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or any prize won. In order to be declared winners and before receiving a prize, entrants selected to receive a prize agree to sign and return a Declaration and full Liability Waiver in this regard.
- By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the release, publication or use of their name, place of residence, photograph, image, without compensation or notice, for publicity, marketing or informational purposes in any media or format (including the Internet) in connection with this Contest or similar contests in the future, and agree to sign any document related to this engagement or deemed necessary by the Contest Organizer.
- Each selected entrant may have to provide the Contest Organizer with proof that he is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry.
- The winner will be announced on February 23, 2018, at 3 p.m. (EST). The names of the winners will be announced and visible on the website of the Contest Organizer as of 3 p.m. on February 23, 2018. The names of the winners may also be mentioned during the Contest Organizer’s final press conference, and in the wrap-up news release.
- For the purposes of these rules, the entrant is considered to be the person whose contact details appear on the online entry form. The Contest Organizer reserves the right to require a piece of identification before presenting a prize.
- In order to claim his prize, a winner must: a) be reached by the Contest Organizer within 48 hours of the drawing; b) sign a Declaration and Liability Waiver which will be sent electronically, and return it to the Contest Organizer within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. Failure to comply with any of these aforementioned conditions will result in the disqualification of the winner and a possible refusal to remit the prize.
- Any person selected to receive a prize acknowledges that upon receipt of the confirmation of his prize from the Contest Organizer, all services to be rendered in connection with said prize become the sole responsibility of the supplier(s) of the prize.
- If any paragraph of these rules is declared or deemed illegal, unenforceable or invalid by a competent legal court, said paragraph will be considered null and void, while all other paragraphs left unaffected will be enforced to the extent permitted by law.
- In the event of a discrepancy between the French and English versions of these rules, the French version will prevail.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
- Without limiting the generality of the preceding and for greater certainty, the Contest Organizer, L’Équipe Spectra, Le Lait, their affiliated companies, employees, agents and representatives, advertising and promotional agencies, and promotional agencies associated with the Contest, will not be held liable for: a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by visitors to the Contest website, any equipment or programming used by or associated with the Contest, or by any human or technical error that may occur in the processing of entries to the Contest; b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in the operation of the Contest website, or any transmission in connection with the Contest; c) any communications line failure, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entries; d) any problem or technical defect in the network, telephone line, online computer system, server, computer equipment provider, website, software, or email which may occur due to or technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or any combination of these elements; e) any damage to the computers of any third party related to participating or downloading materials for this Contest. If the Contest cannot run as planned for any reason, including infection by a computer virus, bugs, computer error, falsification, unauthorized interventions, fraud, technical failure, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, the Contest Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, as required. In any event, the Contest Organizer, its affiliated companies and the suppliers of prizes and services associated with this Contest may not be held liable to award more prizes than those aforementioned in these rules, nor to award prizes other than those in compliance with these rules. Entering this Contest implies that the entrant consents to these rules, notably with respect to the absolute limit to the number of prizes described above.
QUÉBEC RESIDENTS
- Any litigation concerning the organization or conduct of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation concerning the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie solely for the purposes of helping the parties reach a settlement.
- The masculine gender is used in no discriminatory fashion, simply to facilitate the text.
PRIVACY
- The Contest Organizer collects personal information on entrants for the sole purpose of administrating this Contest. Other informational or marketing communications may be received by the entrant from the Contest Organizer and Le Lait, as long as he agrees by checking the appropriate box on the entry form. For all information on the Contest Organizer’s policy regarding the protection of privacy and personal information of users, please consult L’Équipe Spectra’s policy on privacy, to which the Contest Organizer subscribes, at http://www.equipespectra.ca/politique_confidentialite_en.aspx
In addition, the entrant consents to having the Contest Organizer disclose his personal information to those companies responsible for providing special services such as Contest organization, management of website and database operation, or other services related to the operation of the business or the Contest. Affiliated companies must commit to keeping entrants’ personal information secure and confidential, in compliance with this privacy policy. Use of entrants’ personal information is strictly limited to carrying out the special services they provide. They may not share, sell, lend out or otherwise transmit said personal information to any other party, and must keep all information confidential, to the maximum extent allowed by law.
